| Gym Ring Assisted Pistol Jump Exercise Steps |
| Start in a standing position, holding the Gym Rings in front of you with your arms slightly bent. Stand on one foot and lower your body into a deep one-legged squat, keeping your weight on your heel. Use the Gym Rings to balance yourself. | |
| Simultaneously explode up with your legs and pull your body up with the Gym Rings. In midair, straighten your feet. | |
| Land on the opposite foot and absorb the impact with your leg, dropping down into a deep one-legged squat. | |
| It is important to absorb the landing impact with your whole body and flow between reps. Failing to absorb the impact will cause added stress on your ankles, knees, and hips. |
