How to do a Push Up Hold The Push Up Hold is a great variation of the push up and will put your upper body through a strenuous workout. Add this in to your routine to build your strength in the push up and to give your push up workout a new twist.

Body Parts Used: Core, Legs, Arms, Shoulders, Chest, Back
Difficulty: Easy

Exercise Steps
Step 1 Get into push up position on the ground with your hands under your shoulders and your body in a straight line.
Step 2 Drop down maintaining a straight line in your body. When you get to the bottom, hold the position as long as you want.
Step 3 Push yourself back to the starting position and repeat.
Tips Maintain a straight line by keeping a tight core throughout the entire exercise.
