How to do the Muscle Up Transition Exercise The Muscle Up is an explosive upper body exercise that will build a powerful upper body if performed regularly. Practice this exercise by performing explosive pull ups and high rep pull ups and chin ups. At the top of the muscle up, performing a side to side hop will increase your core and arm strength and turn the muscle up into a unstoppable strength building exercise.

Exercise Steps
Step 1 Perform a muscle up on a sturdy pull up bar
Step 2 At the top of the bar hop over a few inches to a foot and drop back down into the bottom of the muscle up.
Step 3 Perform another muscle up, hop over and repeat for as long desired.
Tips Perform this on a bar that will not sway. Only perform this if you feel 100% comfortable with your muscle up abilities. Maintain a tight core when transitioning to the other side before the muscle up.
