How to do Diamond Push Ups The Diamond Push Up is a great exercise to put more of an emphasis on the triceps. This is a more difficult exercise than traditional push ups and will provide a much more strength gaining effect. The Diamond Push Up is a great exercise to add to your training.

Exercise Steps
Step 1 Position yourself on the ground so that your hands are underneath you forming a diamond shape with your index fingers and thumbs.
Step 2 Look slightly ahead of you and lower your body maintaining a straight line
Step 3 Look slightly ahead of you and lower your body maintaining a straight line
Tips Maintain core tension throughout the entire exercise so as not to let the hips drop. Do not roll too much on the outside of the wrist. If your wrists lack the needed flexibility to perform this exercise, pass on it for right now.
